FEEDBACK CRIME/MYSTERY FILM FESTIVAL – Thursday October 20, 2016

The FEEDBACK Monthly Film Festival now doing two events a month for 2016.. Our home isThe Carlton Cinemas, located in the heart of downtown Toronto at 20 Carlton Street. The event runs from 7pm to 9:10pm.

Continuing to showcase the best of short films from around the world, while maintaining our audience feedback format moderated by Matthew Toffolo.

Tickets for 2016 are PAY WHAT YOU LIKE. Purchase your tickets online via Paypal or Credit Card. Tickets are first come first serve.

All proceeds to this month’s festival will be donated to festival cinema costs (suggestion $8 and up), which helps the monthly event:
OR, if you like to obtain seats in advance and pick them up on the day of the event (come for FREE, or make a donation), please email us at tickets@wildsound.ca and we’ll reserve seats for you.

You can pick up the tickets on the day of the event at the cinema. Tickets are first come, first serve. This festival has sold out 46 out of its last 48 events!

You will be able to buy alcohol (beer, wine, liquor), popcorn, candy, and refreshments before the show.

FIRST ACT PROGRAM


TENGU: BIRDMAN OF THE MOUNTAINS, 8min., UK, Action/Fantasy

Directed by Emily DellRevolves around the detective agency of Grace Blackwell and Raven Summers. A feisty duo fighting injustice and giving a voice to the defenseless using brute force, killer brains and unconventional beauty.

SECOND ACT PROGRAM


MOTEL MOTEL, 20min., Belgium, Crime/Mystery
Directed by Ellen J. BabeliowskyWhen Hjalmar inspects his room in an old, worn-out motel, he discovers a severed ear in the deep-pile carpet. During his search for the origin of the ear, he stumbles from one strange ocurrence into the next. The mystery of the ear ultimately gets him into a surreal situation, of which he is both the victim and the spectator.

THE APOLOGY, 7min, UK, Mystery/Crime
Directed by Patrik BerghIn this dark comedy we find an old man sitting alone in a roadside diner nervously waiting for the moment that will finally seal his fate. With the other man finally showing up, the story takes a sinister turn sinister when he decides to teach the old man a lesson.
